A First Halloween for All

It was Nathan's first Halloween! It was the first Halloween with a child for Alex and me! It was our first Halloween in our own home! In the state of Indiana!

A Halloween of firsts, you could say.

This is how it went.

Alex spent the first almost three hours of the day waiting to get the oil changed and the tires rotated on our Jeep. During this time, I relaxed with the baby. When he got home he repaired the gutters, and I cleaned the bathroom and did the laundry. I went to the grocery store and got some things for Sunday dinner. Nathan was a model baby all day long!

Eventually I thought, hey! It's Halloween. I should put Nathan in his costume. At least for a picture, right?

He took the whole thing very seriously.

No matter that this costume is about 5 sizes too big... He can be Yoda for the next five Halloweens!

We had a festive porch with a creepy spiderweb door and a black light. Pumpkins were a thing of dreams this year, unfortunately.

Alex has vowed to become better at the whole decorating the outside of the house for holidays thing, so stay tuned for next year when we scare your pants right off!!
