|^^ First picture with my awesome selfie stick. Alex's mom got it for me and I could not be more grateful. Seriously. It is so awkward to go fun places with Alex and ask people to take our picture! I think the selfie stick might help me, guys!!^^|
How far along: 27 weeks and 2 days!
How big is baby: The size of a rutabaga! Which I guess is a real thing, even though I have never seen one or eaten one. That I know of...
Weight Gain: Last I checked? 10 pounds. I think it's more now, but I hate weighing myself. The doctor says I'm right on track, so I'm not worried!
Stretch marks: None! I got some Burt's Bee's Mama Bee lotion just in case, and that stuff is SO thick and creamy. I love putting it on!
Sleep: I've been sleeping really well for the most part. I'm still relying on my nasal strips to get me through the night with this dang pregnancy rhinitis. I bought some nasal strips at Walgreens and they are THE WORST. But I felt like I had to keep using them because nasal strips are expensive blah blah blah... anyway, last night I looked in the box and I only have two left! Hallelujah!!! Western Family nasal strips, I'm coming for ya!
Craving: Literally no cravings guys. If anything, eating is such a hassle. I do have a bit of a sweet tooth I guess, but I've always had one. I just feel less and more guilty indulging it. It's a slippery slope of sugar love and guilt.
Random: The other day I was driving to a Mary Kay meeting, and when I was pulling in to the middle lane to turn left, the guy behind me totally rear ended me. He hit the back corner of my car, like he didn't even see me in front of him! Anyway, it pushed the car into oncoming traffic, which luckily I had quick enough reflexes to steer out of. It was SO scary and annoying at the same time. Luckily the baby seems to be just fine. He was kicking around the whole time I was talking to the police about it! Now my neck is just really sore, so I went to the doctor to make sure it wasn't anything serious or long term, and he told me I will get over it! But he said that usually he prescribes muscle relaxers in a case like this, but since I'm pregnant he prescribed 1-2 massages a week for the next month!! I am not complaining one bit about that!!
Feeling: A lot of feelings! Moving to Indiana seems so close and I don't know if I'm ready. In fact, having a baby seems really close and I don't know if I'm ready! It's like, one part of me is really super nervous about everything, and the other part of me just knows it will actually all be awesome. So I'm just going to stick with the latter part and try not to panic!
And that's what 27 weeks along with Madeline Casey looks like.
