|Little caesar's is study food. didn't you know?|
^^ A kind of picture of my sweatshirt since I didn't take outfit pics today. And a blurry artistic shot of alex studying (plus my legs and computer. What? I didn't want to get off the couch, ok?) ^^
+ Today I had a field trip. Field trips were the best when you were a kid, right? I remember so many great field trips. As a teacher, they're super boring and kind of a nuisance...
+ On said field trip, some of my fourth grade girls started dreaming up a perfect world where I was their fifth grade teacher, and then their sixth grade teacher, and then their middle school teacher, and then their high school teacher.... And I was like, I KNOW RIGHT? I'm gonna miss them big time.
+ On a more embarrassing/adorable note, two girls spent their bus ride home making up songs about me to the tune of "Deck the Halls" going something like, "Mrs. Casey is the best!! Fa la la la la la la la la! Her new name should be Mrs. Awesome Pants! fa la la la la la la la la!" Not to brag or anything... but I just think my fourth graders are the best.
+ Then I spent the afternoon with my good friend Amy and her little nugget Lena. Lena rode her bike all over the neighborhood, and spent a lot of time saying, "Hi, Madeline!" at varying degrees of volume.
+ And then she had me put her in a swing completely sideways. You know the baby swings with the holes for the legs? She was facing the metal chain. I tried to tell her... but she didn't care. It must have been her first time in a swing like that? (Shame on you, Amy. Shame.)
+ I said I would eat healthier today. And then we got Little Caesar's.
+ Alex is studying. He keeps looking at me like I am distracting him, but I'm really innocently typing, and he just can't stop looking at me because he thinks I'm the BEST. What? It's true.
+ I think he's the best too :)
p.s. what was your favorite field trip as a kid? Do you think your teacher liked it? Did you like your teacher?
