Portrait of a morning

There's something about the quiet of the early morning here in Washington that sings to me more than any other place. The way the birds call to each other through the morning most, and the distant waves creat a quiet roar. The sunlight gently falls through the windows. Everything is so pleasant, so new, so pure before we all wake up.

I know I've typed a lot about England on here lately. But your heart can be in several places at once, and a big chunk of mine is always here.
