in case you haven't had a dose of random thinking today...

I probably have never mentioned this on my blog, but I don't like yogurt. I wouldn't go so far as to say absolutely loathing, but I definitely cringe when I think about it, you know? I don't get the texture. I don't get why I would want to eat slime with chunks in it? It's just a thing. About me. I recently discovered horchata flavored yogurt. And I mean, Alex made me taste it, so that was how it happened, but I can't get over it. I love it. It's a weird thing lately. Today I thought to myself, we bought peaches! I'll make myself some peaches and horchata yogurt! I don't know what brain that thought came from, but pretty sure I intercepted it from someone else who eats healthy and loves yogurt. Either way, it seemed like a good idea.

The peaches were hard though, so idea thwarted. But horchata yogurt was still consumed.

Another thing is that I used to have a charger for my laptop. Old Reliable, I call it now, with reverence. The thing is, Old Reliable had some frayed wires going on, and some people who discriminate against such things and even go as far as to label it "dangerous", convinced me that it was time to move on. Time to let Old Reliable go to charger heaven, and purchase a newer model.

The newer model. Now. We didn't really get along. Because for some reason it had this plastic covering over the plug part? So I ripped it off the best I could, which resulted in - get this - new charger frayed wires! Suddenly new charger was pretty unhappy with life, and would only charge my laptop if it was at a certain angle. I cry for Old Reliable every day. Especially since today, new charger decided to give up on life completely. And now I have no money for yet another attempt at charging this bad boy up, so I resorted to borrowing my school charger for the night in the name of Frustration with a capital F.

I call this one Reluctant Roger.

And that's all for now folks!

dun dun dun dun dun dun! She's Madeline, She's Madeline.... doo doo doo doo dah dah!

Had to leave you with a little song there, because apparently I've morphed into a person who sings every other sentence. Oh sorry, did I say I was done writing? More words are pouring out of me! It's like my fingers are trying to make me tell you something else!

Oh yeah, just about to watch Mean Girls. Because I've never heard a movie with so many quotable lines in my life. So see ya.

p.s. a girl in my class told me today that maybe the reason they talk too much is because I tell them they're doing good so they get excited?

I'm sorry, is that a thing?

  1. I love everything about this post haha! I definitely went through my own yogurt hate phase, and then mom made me eat some. so that was rude. If it makes you feel better, I always did trust Ole Reliable.

  2. haha. You crack me up. I didn't even know horchata flavored yogurt existed. But I like(ish) yogurt and think horchata is da bomb diggety. So I'm probably going to go look for some.... not that that really matters to anyone. But yeah...
